door check for 1995 sl600

hey, my passenger side door has been really squeaking ever since I have put WD40 on it I think I need to replace the door check but I do not know how. What should I do?

You have to remove the door panel, it is inside the door. After the panel is removed there are 2 screws on the outside near the hinge and one screw under the door panel. Good luck.

Do NOT have the dealer do it, they will rip you off, it is a VERY easy repair. The dealer wanted 2 hours labor for this, god knows why, it took like 15 minutes.
