Does anybody have ........
The previous owner of my 89'560sl removed the guts from the ashtray including cigarette lighter leaving an empty flip down compartment with no power point. Have searched around to replace but with no success.....help?

Mine was the same way plus no cigar lighter either.
I found the power leads stuffed behind the ashtray frame. There are two screws in the back of the ashtry holder/frame take them off, use a magnetic screw driver as if you loose these they are hard to replace. I look around and matched them to the back of the cigar tray connection. I would guess the previous owner of my car had the HVAC out and didn't bother with the cigar lighter power leads, no smokers do things like this.

yes,but......
I have the 'power points' there..... but not the attachments that they power.....which would be the cigarette lighter, it's holder and stubber assembly.

I haven't seen the lighter assembly that is the lighter
it sefl, just the back of the ashtray were the two plugs are. I am wondering if these are still availablre, I'll check fast lane and I bet Phil has them!
