450sl Tires

Hello, I have a 1976 450 SL and yes I want to keep the orginal tire size (205/70/14) not an upgrade.

Best high speed tire I can find is Firestone Affinity LH-30. I looked at the Michelin Harmony but that is only an S speed rated tire.

Any input would be appreciated

Thank You

YES! It has become difficult to find that size in an H or V rated tire. I have a '79 BMW 733i with the same size. I found that Pirelli still makes them in a few tire models Dunlop, which is now owned by Goodyear, does too. Check Yokohama and Continental.

I chose the Pirelli's, because of a deal at Discount Tire.
