Great to see we have a forum dedicated to the Mercedes SL. any SL Mercedes to me is a beautiful mercedes.

Here in Southern California, you really get to use the SL with its top down for very long periods of time.

Both my Father and My Brother Drive SL's. My Father has a 1994 SL 600. My Brother has a 1985 380SL.

When Asked why they love the SL, they replied "There is nothing better than driving around, sun on your skin, wind in your hair, and beautiful skies all around."

The SL will always have a place in my heart, and hopefully a place in my garage when I can afford to get one as my extra vehicle.

Alon

This is the RIGHT attitude!! I started out with a Volkswagen when I first had my driving license and wanted to own my first mercedes before I would reach the age of 22. The next step was buying myself a mercedes SL...I even bought myself a second MB convertible and think I have to start looking for a (small) house with (big) garage...

greetingz,
