129 rustling noise from left hand door
 

My 129 has for a long time suffered from a rustling wind noise from the left hand door/B pillar when travelling at high speed (70mph plus) with the hard top in situ. The dealer has suggested that the "window drop seal" needs replacing at a cost of GBP350. The part number is A129 790 2198.

I cannot identify what part this is. If I knew the part location, I could check it out and verify what the dealer is telling me. I might even be able to fix it myself. Can anybody point out this part to me, perhaps some one with the EPC?

First try adjusting the windows as over time the fit varies against the seals. This is done by removing the trim and adjusting a bolt. Also check that the door is aligned properly when closed.
