2001 SL600, "V12" emblem in the trunk?

I do not have the brochure for the 2001 SL600. I know that there are two "V12" emblems above the left/right engine vents.

Is there supposed to be a "V12" emblem in the back, i.e. on the passenger's side of the trunk?

No. Only on the fender trim. The boot (or trunk) lid has never shown "V12" (or "V8" for that matter) on any MB model fitted with such an engine. I thought they stopped making the V12 in 2000?
