ASR problem any ideas appreciated!

Ok guys here it goes,

I bought a 94 SL600 3 weeks ago, instrument cluster was loaded with Check Engine, ASR, ADS lights. So took the car to dealership and got an estimate of $9000 just for the ASR light. Anyway, I started digging on the web sites for possible solutions and came across; home made diagnostic tool and rewiring actuators. Anyway made my diagnostic tool, and checked for the codes (yeah lots of them) anyway, actuators rewired, EGR passages drilled, and a wheel speed sensor was replaced, after that all my lights went out. However, I was receiving code 22 pressure switch on socket 6 ABS&ASR I am still getting this code, this is how it goes sometimes all day driving I dont hear the ABS pump running no lights on the dash either, but the next day pump is running every 5 mins. and after pump stops ASR light pops out. when that happens I check for the codes and receive 22 pressure switch leakage, I checked all over the brake lines and no visible leaks at all. However brake fluid level is slightly low, between MAX - MIN, since the car is new I cant be sure if the level was like this or is it going down slowly! Should I suspect a bad pump? or what can be the next step to diagnose this problem?

Hi,

I've got a 95 sl600 that I've been chasing climate control problems with for a couple months. Could you please tell me where you found the plans for the diagnostic scanner? I'm sure with just the stuff I've done that it has a bunch of stored codes. Thank you, st

Looks like no one wants to tackle ASR problems anymore. Fortunately there's an awful lot in the archives here. The recurring thought I have on ASR problems is to sell the car. Good luck.
