1982 grey market 500sl power windows quit working

my battery went dead sitting in the garage, when i charged it up and went for a drive, i noticed the the windows would not go down, worked perfectly before battery went dead, it has been 6 months and windows will still not work, any thoughts would be a ppreceiated, i alternated the fuses in the passenger side foot well, but no windows, but everything else contiues to work.

Most likely unrelated. Check the switches in the console. Most of my window problems were from the switches. Pull one, disassemble (don't lose the bbs), clean up and reassemble. Good luck.
