soft top clam shell
It's there a way to manually open the clamshell that covers the soft top?
Mine unlocks driver side but not the other, hard top locks and unlocks flawlessly. |

Ok, I just pulled the owners manual, and it gives the exact procedure. Check there, as it would be a good starting point.

I do hate to break into the tool pouch since it still wrap in sealed plastic but se la vie. Thanks again |

NOOO DONT BREAK THE SEAL!!!
Just go to sears and pick up all of the tools needed for a few bucks. That was, you have an extra set, and yours are still new and pretty!

clamshell
Tried it again yesterday afternoon, took off the hard top, sat it down on blankets next to the car , pull the button to raise the soft top and the clam shell opened and the soft top raised and lock perfectly like nothing was ever wrong with it, after I let my blood pressure return to normal I open the back, lubricated all joints silicone the rubber seals and operated the top several times and it worked everytime without a flaw, I guess it just didn't want to work that particular day it was too pretty and warm, today is raining.
