85 380 SL Can't stop The Water
I am beside myself.
I blocked off the vents and I still have water by the inner rocker inside on the drivers side. Where are the drains for the air vents in front of the windshield? When that is open I get water by the fuse box and on the floor on both sides. Thanks Jack 1985 380 SL |

Do a search
There are a lot of posts on this. Short answer is that they are under the blower cover just outside the cavity that the blower sits in.
Also, look carefully at the large grommet in the hole where the vacuum lines enter the engine compartment on the left side, right where the fender joins the firewall. For some reason that can catch water, which will drip exactly as you describe.

water leak
Hi,
I pulled the blower cover and I cannot see any holes. Can you please be more specific? Thanks Jack |

Look or feel just outside the blower chamber, on both sides, at the lowest point near the firewall. They are about 1/2" in diameter.
