What a great ride!!

Last nite took the new to me 500sl (96 with 65k miles) and not so new wife (sl was a 30th anniversery present to wifey) for a nitetime ride (car, not wife)...78 degrees last nite in the Ozarks, full moon and a ride from Springfield MO to Branson...top down (car, not wife)..stereo loud..full moon and the Ozark mountains...only one thing better than driving a Benz...but for the life of me I can't remember what it is....
happy easter
Mike

Last night I took the 560SL (86 with 195k miles) and not so new wife for a nightime ride (car, not wife)...85 degrees last nite under the New England sky...top down (car AND wife)..stereo loud.. New England country side. This did take alot of convincing.

Then I took the wife for a ride (without the car)

Sorry I dont have any pictures

Okay, so . . . ?

Which ride was better, Ron, the SL or the wife? That's okay. no need to answer. I just couldn't pass up that opening.

Wow....

I took the wife for a 900 mile ride last week in the 560 sl, mostly with the top down (car/ wife refuses to put top down in the car). NOrthern Michigan was beautiful and warm. Love the car and the wife, the car ran great and with a little less noise than the wife at speeds higher than 80.

You just need to show her this thread. You will get the top down.

What a bunch of wits!

You guys are a witty bunch. I've had a helluva time on the forum for the last four months. Haven't had this much fun in a long time! Thanks.
