Hardtop window defrost
Had to use the rear defroter the other day. A first for me.
The light came on, but the window did not defrost. Fuses in the trunk and the engine bay are fine. The connector behind the door seems fine. (I left my VOM at the condo, so I can't check it until the weekend). There must be a relay somewhere. Anybody know where? 1991 300SL

Oh boy, I feel dumb.
Yes, I have full voltage at the connector. So I finally look at the male plug from the hardtop. Duh! The metal prongs somehow got pushed up into the body of the plug. So I unsnapped the plug case, made it right, and now the window gets voltage. Probably been this way from before I bought it because I never used the defroster before.
