Question Flashing Emergency Brake Light

I've gotten into the good habit (at least I hope) of engaging my 450's emergency brake every time I park. The emerg. brake light comes on as it should. When I'm on the road lately, I noticed that sometimes the light flashes intermittently when I'm braking, even though the emerg. brake has been fully released.

Do I have a loose connection or short?

Thanks.

I think that light also indicates low brake fluid level in your reservoir.

Agree, you're low on brake fluid.

flashing red light 450 sl (intermittant)

I agree usually shows low brake fluid. however there ar 2 addittional possibilities. A) slight brake fluid leak at caliper pistons ( if brake resivoir is full) b) switch on master cylinder. On my 450 sl The switch was the culprit along with leak at caliper . Good luck Abe G
