A 107 that has been setting for any extended length of time can be plagued by many problems, most of which have been mentioned here. I will add that it is not uncommon for fuel "varnish" to impeed the movement of the air "flapper" in the inlet. That plate meters fuel proportionally as the valve moves in response to throttle position/engine vacuum. It should move freely with slight finger pressure. ***CAUTION*** be wary of trying this with the engine running, and only momentarily press down regardless of engine running or not. ***DO NOT PERFORM THIS TEST WITH THE KEY IN THE RUN POSITION**** Fuel will be dumped into the manifold and potentially down into the cylinder bores. One member on another forum found out the hard way what happens when a gasoline engine gets so much fuel into the cyl bores as to hydraulically lock the motor. NASTY!

Hi All:
The linkage does not appear to be missing any components that I know of. For the components that sit on the manifold, you can lift and jiggle the linkages however. There is play. Not sure if there should be a bushing somewhere. As for plastic line, I did notice one the is missing. Facing the firewall there are two valves. The one that is to the right has a red line running into it from the bottom. There is no line running off the top valve. Does anyone know where that goes to? Also, is there a vaume test that I can check on theses lines? J |

That play in the linkage should not be there.

Oil Pressure
I'll look into the linkage play.
On another note, which may be a problem. At idle, the oil pressure is at the max 45. When reving the engine it moves down to 40. Where is the wire the attached to the sensor? I want to clean the contact to see if it resolves the problem. Thanks, J |
