R107 Window Alignment, DIY?

The manual and CD I have only shows this for manual windows, not power.

I have a window that is tilted up and a little too forward. Needs to be tilted down and pulled back a little to align.

There are 2 screws on the door panel and inside door. I don't want to whack up the alignment by doing this the wrong way.

Any instructions??

It can be a royal pain in the butt. I tried to adjust mine and it took a looong time to get it even close. Of course, I might have other issues involved too. From what I remember, there are two screws in the door jamb accessible from the outside of the door (one covered by a plastic plug) for setting the glass angle from top to bottom. There were two inside at the bottom of the window glass front and rear to set the angle of the glass from front to back. And there are two screws that hold the chrome corner at the front that lets it slide front to back for seal fit on the "A" pillar. There are also hard stop adjustments for raised and lowered, and you must loosen the upper one before making adjustments. I noticed that with all the adjustments set, when the window hits the hard stop, it can tweak the glass a little and affect the adjustment. I would follow the manual instructions step by step, and don't loosen all the bolts at the same time. I found the factory instructions to actually be very good (compared to other sections of the manual). Manual and power windows should be the same procedure. I remember reading that on some of the older cars you might need to space out the weatherstripping too. I would carefully look to see how the window fits initially, and then check the fit after each step to see if you gained or lost ground. Each adjustment adjusts certain aspects of the window alignment, so if one step of the adjustment looks fine, skip to the next.

There is a really good post on this, which you should find on a search. I believe that the procedure is the same whether the windows are crank or power.
