Dead battery

My battery went dead and I did not notice till today. Not sure how long its been dead as almost a month ago since I last started it. Anyway, I jumped it with another car and I could hear two clicking sound but nothing else. I also noticed when I opened and closed the door, the window won't come down an inch like it normally does. I am wondering what is wrong now. The radio is dead also and it says Code. Guess I will need the dealer to reprogram that for me when I get the car started. Please help!!!

Oh, most of those problems are easy to fix!!!

The windows need to be re-synced. Just lower the windows to their lowest points, and continue to hold for 5 seconds. Do the same in their uppermost posistion, and that should fix the problem with the windows not self lowering.

You should have the radio code on a little slip of paper with the car. I have mine with my owners manual. you just insert the 4 digit code, and voila, it will come back to life. If you dont have the code, call you dealer. You should be able to give them your vin number, and they can look up the radio code in their computer.

The starter just sounds like you need to let the battery charge up a bit. I had that exact problem with mine when the voltage was low. Just swapped out the battery, and all was good once again!

What about the immobilizer? When the battery is dead, will it mass up the security system and hence no start? How to re-set the immobilizer if needed?

You should be able to reset the immobilizer by inserting the key into the trunk lock and completing a full lock and unlock cycle. You may need to resync the remote, but I cannot remember the keypress to do it.
