Transmission conversion
Is anyone aware of another automatic transmission that can be used in a '78 450SL? I would like to get rid of the 3-speed auto. that is currently in the car and possibly replace it with an auto. that is either a 4-speed auto. or any transmission that has an overdrive.
any suggestions TIA

TTBOMK all of the automatics have a 1:1 final drive. The 4-speeds actually use 3 most of the time anyway because they have a 2nd gear start.
