2006 Sl65
4 months ago I saw one of this at the Mercedes dealer for $210,000.00 USD.
yesterday I saw another 2006 with 6,000 miles on the clock for $ 129,000.00 the car is a black beauty sitting at a local imports dealer, most of this cars come from California, There is a $81,000.00 USD difference in between this cars. Is the depreciation that high on this model? Maybe it needs a proffesional body-man to look at it and a car-fax history, this car looks flawless from where is park, it just blows my mind about the difference in prices. $13.50 USD you loose for every mile you drive them, at 20,000 miles the car will be worth less than $0.00 USD. |

Hey in a year they might give you money just to take it off their hands

The depreciation is crazy, but not as bad as you think. The dealers buy the SL65's for 79,000 from Mercedes Benz. Around here, you can buy a brand new SL65 from the dealer for 159,000. So you factor in that they are selling for 129,000 you are only out 30,000.... I know its alot of money, but for the type of car its not alot of money.
