fair price for a 58 190SL
What is a fair price for a 1958 190SL. Black with red leather interior. Not absolutly perfect, but pretty close. Interior very nice. Paint very decent. Chrome not perfect in certain spots, but only upon close inspection, same with paint. Good wheels and tires. mechanically sound. Very tight. 4 speed manual. stock carbs. NO RUST. one is for sale in my area, and I am very tempted.

I'd say 30s, perhaps high 30s.

190 Sl Price
Just beware of rust on those.
I even did a few in the late 60's and they had much rust. Remember "Rust Never Sleeps" Jack |

Well it looks like I just purchased the car. We came to a deal at $25,000. The car was sold through a VERY reputable mechanic who is considered the expert on 190SL cars(he has restored 3 for himself). I feel confident about it. What sort of things should I worry about on this car? Questions I should ask etc. I know it has no rust. I will show pics asap. I’m very excited.
