Windshield decal location needed

Hi Folks,

Searched the archives to no avail (though I thought I saw it somewhere). Can somebody out there please give me dimensions for the original location of the Diamler-Benz windshield decal on the lower right corner of the windshield of a 560SL? Dimensions from the lower right corner of the windshield to the lower right corner of the decal would be fine. I'm sure the location wasn't identical for every car made, but right now I have no idea where is should be located. Thanks.

I think this was a dealer installed decal. Why? In my C320, it has a decal for a local car wash closest to the right pillar, then the signature decal....

These are not dealer installed, at least not pre 1990, otherwise I would have installed at the dealer back then.

One inch from the A post.
One inch from the windshield bottom.
Peel the back of the decal and apply the tip only to the windshield for the correct distance as the decal should look fairly horizontal and not as to follow the curvature of the windshield bottom.
You can check the perfect fit from the outside before pressing the whole decal, and of course you press from the center out in order to avoid any creases.
Good luck.

Lee,

Thanks for the info. I sure appreciate it. One of those finishing touches I need to do yet.
