Replacement speakers
 

I am getting static from my driverside speaker. It looks like the car only has a 3.5 inch speaker on either side of the dash.

Any recommendations on what to replace them with? I am thinking any 4 ohm 3.5 inch speaker? I am using the stock becker radio.

Go to http://www.crutchfield.com From there select "What fits my car", select yr, etc it will show you what speakers will fit in the space. Most all radios will work with 4-8 Ohms and some handle 2.

Rockford Fosgate, punch P132c, fullrange. Bolt right in.

Ditto on the P132c speakers. Excellent fit, the cone is small enought so it does not hit the grill cover.

You might also want to look at the Boston Acoustics S35's. The Rockford Fosgate is rated at 15 watts RMS and 30 watts peak power while the BA's are rated at 30 watts RMS and 60 watts peak power.

I just ordered the BLAUPUNKT PCxb352 Coaxial Speakers 3.5 inch. Hopefully they fit OK.
