380sl fuel filter change

me again! As a new 380SL owner ... will I get a face full of fuel when I attempt to change the fuel filter. Is the line pressurized? Is there a valve to isolate the line? Also the replacement filter body is about 1.5 inches less in length than the one in the car. Is this going to be a problem? Will the flex line move enough to take the shorter filter.

Thanks

No valve, usually you clamp the line. If you loosen the gas cap, you will relieve any pressure.
