Click inside door when window switch pressed

Hi all. My passenger window will not roll down. When the switch is pressed down, I can hear a click (or clunk) from within the door and swear sometimes from the rear by the trunk. When pressed up, sound comes from door only (??). Assume this means switch is working, so what's my next move? Thanks in advance.

My understanding is that the soft-top controller in the rear under the seats( if you have them) controls the window operation, hence why you may hear a clicking from the rear.

The windows are independently fused and can be found in the boot (trunk), fuse 1 left window, fuse 2 right and should be 16A read. Check both.

Maybe of some use?

Lea
