Euro headlites in R129

I have just installed a set of Euro headlamps in my 1991 500SL and man
what a difference in lighting,no more piss holes in the snow. They are a
dramatic inprovement,although a little pricy about $565 delivered they do
come with bulbs installed and a set of side marker lights are included.
I purchased from www.adsitco.com and also recieved a discount for
online purchase.

i was told they look pretty close to the us versions @ a slight distance. is that true?

The overall look of the Euro light is similar to the US light but much cleaner. There is no space around the lens, and no foggy surround. (take a close look at Lea's car above)

In addition to the cleaner look, you get some significant advantages.

1) the reflector is larger, hence more actual light focusing power (which means a brighter more defined beam)
2) Optically better lens
3) No aiming "nipples" for your wipers to get hung up on
4) Better choices of bulbs in the H4 category

I switched to the Euros a few months ago and the improvemnet in aesthetics and performance is dramatic.

Now if I could only find the Phillips Power 2 Night bulbs in the US, I'd really be happy. I already wrote to Phillips and they told me they're not for sale in the US

P.S. I got my lights from "Bekkers", and I had a horrible experience. They were more expensive than the price quoted above from "Adsitco", they weren't properly packaged so they arrived damaged. And to add insult to injury, in spite of multiple phone calls, e-maills, pictures, etc...... they refused to send me a replacement or refund.
HORRIBLE company to deal with.
