Do you intend to continue to baby it? Weekend boulevard cruiser or daily driver...?

Inquiring minds want to know.

I'll pass

I decided to pass on the car. It would have been a daily driver., but I decided to add another diesel to the fleet. I'll keep the Audi TT for now and make it a part time car.

I picked up a 79 300SD with 142K miles. The is truly a Grandma and Grandpa car. The original paint is inbelievable. The interior is almost immaculate. It has more low end power than by '84 (which my daughter drives). There is just a touch a flaring in the transmission. I've worked those out with my '84 and will do the same with this one. The only thing that doesn't appear to work in the tach and AC. The tach is reported to be intermintent (probably the tach amp connection). I haven't dealt with the AC on either of the diesels yet.

I like the features of the 84 better, I just wish it was in the same condition.

Thanks for all the input.

Patrick
