Window Felt
I replaced seal on driver's side pillar and adjusted window to match new fit on soft top but was left with a slight air leak between top of window and coupe rubber seal. The manuals recommend the use of window felt to close the gap. Any suggestions where I might go to find this special type of cloth or felt strip? (I tried dealer and was told item is not stocked
 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ____________ '80 450 SL

Maybe you could use some foam seals that have adhesive and come in rolls from the local home building supply store. They might have some kind of felt seal material too. You can buy some black automotive weatherstrip glue to glue pieces on as well.
