KickDown Switch Mercedes 1991 300SL

I saw this on ebay, does anyone have any experience with this switch? If you are stuck with the mediocre passing ability of high gear, this is what you need. This part is OE so it is just like your original.

Isn't this just a replacement for the kickdown switch already in the car? Don't think it's any different to be honest.
