1999 500sl ads light stays on

I sprung a leak in hyraulic line from reservoir. All fluid ran out. repaired the line and filled the reservoir with hyraulic fluid. but the light wont go out. i keep checking reservoir and its full up to the top full line. can anyone tell me how to get the light to go out. I disconnected the battey for an hour or so..no help.
