Seats for W107

Is anybody familiar with any seats that will fit the W107 model?

Thanks, for any help.

I've got a set of dark blue Recaro Classics that are awaiting installation. Need to fabricate the mounts for the SL (not paying $90/pair for a length of angle with holes drilled into it). Leather is good, electrics work (fore and aft, plus backrest), don't know about the speakers in the headrests. Air pumps for supporting my a** need attention . They have been sitting in the shop for months and I could be persuaded to part with them, $500/pair plus shipping.

This is all that is required to add seats from a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon, (same Chinese Co. that makes seats for Lexus and Infinity). Black leather, manual adjust like my originals. This was the trial fitting, they were finish welded, square ends rounded and powder coated. As you can see we used the original Merc side mounts which gives even more adjustment. Personally I would stay away from mounting seats to the floor, MBz designed this car for side mounts and probably didn't give a lot of thought to floor strength. The Hyundai had 8K miles on it, I paid $300.00 for the pair. Yes we removed the wiring to the air bag.

Roman,

Are you looking for a seat (or seats) for your SL? If so, I have a passenger seat in black leather that is in excellent condition that I am looking to get rid of.

Thanks for all of your replies, but I am looking for any set of brown Mercedes seats that are for an SL or can fit in an SL. Sorry for the lack of clarity in my original post.

Thanks,

i would be surprised if any of the sedan seats would work.

best bet would be coupe seats, but they are perhaps harder to find than 107 seats.

the coupe seats are designed to sit you about 2" lower.

i suspect the 107 seats would be lower yet.

sedan seats would sit you too high, unless you are a "little person".
