Radiator fan switch

I have a 78 450 SL and I would like to buy the fan switch with the BLUE top that makes the electric fan come on at a little lower temperature. Instead of the standard red top switch . I have seen one on e-bay that is priced very high compaired to the original one. Does anyone know where to get the lower temp switch at a reasonable price ? I have searched and found nothing.

There is an option. What alot of owners here in Queensland, Australia do is bypass the switch altogether. Disconnect it and leave it in place. Fit any universal 12 volt relay in place of the thermo switch. It eliminates the on off annoyance of the fan cutting in and out in traffic and keeps the temperature down from the time you turn on the air. Also works as a cooling aid on particularly hot days. An option, cheap and effective.
