Cup holder in a 91 sl500 ?

I don't think my car has cup holders in it, anyone know if someone makes an aftermarket holder that looks good in these cars ? thanks

hey now thats pretty cool!! I didn't know that cubby hole was for drinks---currently I have these cassette tape holders in there (some factory option) Which I will gladly remove...thanks a bunch for that website!!

EDIT: Ohhh this stinks!! that thing is $119, what a rip off for a cup holder that pops up. I'll just take those cassettes out and use that area to sit a drink inside of

That is pretty much what I did. Put a regular cup holder where the cassette holder was. Don't expect it to keep things cool though, as it gets pretty hot down there.

The one for the later model 129s might fit. I just sold one from my 96.

There were a couple members on this forum selling cup holders at much more reasonable prices. Do a search and you will probably be able to have your pick.

Chill, what are you doing allowing beverages in you SL?! I don't let anybody drink in my cars. No more coffee stains for me.

awe shucks! I'm not that messy....update-I took those cassette holders out and now the cubby hole looks like crap, I think I'll just put them back in, unless there is a piece I can drop in there that looks custom/stock.

There is a plain OEM piece which drops in in place of the cassette pack. It's just not quite wide enough to hold a CD case, but it's nice anyhow. I wrote down both of these part numbers in my book, but only one is correct. I just can't remember which: 129-680-09-91 and 129 683-0000-RSM. Tod
