Lifting points on the bottom of a 560SL?

I just recently purchased a '87 560SL for my daughter and I have a 2-post lift in my garage.
I'm trying to figure out exactly where should I place the lifting pads to lift from directly on the bottom of the car.
For the front, it appears I can put the pads in the narrow frame rail on each side just before the transmission.
But the rear I have no idea unless I place them directly on the lower A-Frame waffling???

Any ideas? Thx in advance.

Put the pads flat and lift right on the seam just inboard of where the tire jack holes are. The inner rails you are refering to by the transmission have next to no structure do not lift there.

Thanks for the info! I really have to reverse my way of thinking with this car

Using my lift I put the lifting pad on the subframe bushing bolt on the back and I use the frame rail on the front.
