Help!Need a at home mechanic.

Can someone please recommend a mechanic in the Seattle Tacoma area that is REASONABLE? And one that gives a damn ,wants to HELP his customer? My '67 SL needs FI workbut I can't afford the people who want to replace EVERYTHING.I wish someone would design an intake manifold that would accept a weber or a holly! Anyone got a name? I'd sure appreciate it. I really enjoy driving my black beauty when it's running good. THANKS! Big T

Have you thought of going with a megasquirt and replace your original FI? I use britautorepair.com outside Issaquah, despite the name he does mercedes pre CIS only. a real grumpy guy but does good work (slowly though) and wont cheat you.
cheers
Len

megasquirt is a do it yourself efi computer, buy the componenet solder them to a board and then download the programming, very clever system.
