The problem is no one makes a Ceramic pad for the front of the 560SL. They make them for the rear and they make them for the earlier 107's and all 126's but not the front of the 560SL. The front of the 560SL uses a unique pad.

Just wondering...

If you sent Akebono clean brake backings, along with the seperated pads, could they cut some new custom pads out of a larger pad and attach them to the clean backings?

I believe it would be worth it. Maybe have them do a few dozen, and sell the balance to others here to help defray the costs.

So, are 129's all the same in brake specs ? If not from which year did they change?
