79 450SL- Where's the darned aux fan relay???

FINALLY got the ac fixed! Now with the heat outside & ac running the aux fan won't come on. Where IS this relay at!!! I already checked the usual stuff; fuses, jumpering the receiver temp switch but no fan. I'd love to take her out & enjoy the ac but with 100+ temps its too risky. PLEASE, can anyone steer me to the location?

It's above the fuses in the right kick panel. It should be labeled "6".

Good luck.

Just remember, though, the aux fan won't bail you out if the other pieces of your cooling system aren't working right: fan clutch, radiator, and thermostat.

Yep, belts, thermostat, fan clutch & water pump all new- radiator boiled out & fresh coolant mix put in!.

And another big YEP the aux fan relay #6 had a bad coil. Replaced it & all systems check good both through eng temp & refrig temp switch. Sure is sweet to have AC in the car & not worry about the fan!

Thanks again!!
