For a screw that is Loctited in place, I would recommend, rather than a "breaker bar", using an "Impact Driver" to get it loose without rounding it off. This is the tool that you equip with a screwdriver bit and then hit with a hammer and it will turn the screw a few degrees, thereby permitting a normal screwdriver to be used on it. They are sold at any dedicated tool store and are surprisingly inexpensive and truly worth their weight in gasoline (nowadays more precious than gold). The tool can be set to turn CW or CCW, so be sure it is set properly.

Hmmm? My seat has the same problem, Scott. How difficult was it to swap them? Anything in a particular I should be aware of before I give it a try?

Thanks
