slipping auto transmisson 1977 450sl help!

Any advice appreciated: rebuilt transmission by Mercedes, slipping and jerky shifts only 15000 miles since installation a few years ago. No leaks. Can this unit be adjusted or anything short of replacement? mercedes # 116-270-17-01-88. Regards, Abe G

What you need to stop the slip in that trans is a 4 spd. manual that I happen to have. I have the complete setup from bell housing and clutch to the rear end.
