do all 129 hardtops fit all years?

does anyone know for a fact if all hardtops are the same for all years that the 129 body was made? I have a 91 and am wanting pano roof. I have found one but want to be sure it will work on my car and that my top will work on his car. mine again is a 91 and his is a 98

They all "pop" into the same 4 holes, but..... I believe that starting in 1995, there was a minor change in the area where the door window glass seals. On these later models the window drops down slightly when the door handle is pulled to open the door. So the weather seal around the perimeter is different. The effect is to provide a better wind seal. Others with more info should chime in here.....

I know for a fact that the late model will not fit 94 and earlier because I tried to fit up a 91 on a 98, The weatherstrip is the problem, You may be able to change it but i am not sure if it can be done...Good luck on your quest.
