this site disses MB, what do you think?
I'm thinking of getting an 03 or 04 SL500 and while searching the web looking for problem areas with these cars I came across this web site:
www.Mercedes-Benz-USA.com Now obviously some of this is junk posting but is anyone aware of specific problems with the newer SLs? thanks if you know. Joe

Yup, that site has been discussed here before. I believe the conclusion was every manufacture probably has an anti web site like that started by a disgruntle consumer gathered along the way in business.

I guess the Internet can be a real double-edged sword for manufacturers. That site looks pretty official until you look it over carefully.

Mercedes was blowing it in the early 2000's, quality was at it lowest in 2004. The brand has rebounded considerably, ranked #5 above Toyota in a 2007 car and driver list.
