Exclamation How do I turn off the heater Manually? I am DYING!

I need to know where is the shut off valve manually not from the consol to turn the heater off on my w107 1975 450 SL.

There is a vacuum actuated control valve at the firewall on the driver side. The valve may be defective. Its default position is on (heat), so you can try to run a vacuum line directly to it to see if it pulls it closed and turns off the heat. If not, then wire the lever closed until you can replace the vacuum assembly.

If your heater control levers are bad you can rebuild them cheap, but what a tough job. For now run the vacum line directly to it and use a pair of hemostats to pinch it if you need some heat. I heard that it might get down to 50 degrees

just push the firewall vacuum pod to the off position and secure
