The trigger points, eh? What needs to be done to clean those?
Are they same as the injectors? Sorry, I know it sounds stupid, but as mama always said, "There's no such thing as stupid questions, just stupid silence." |

trigger points are in the bottom of the distributor, that needs to be removed to clean properly.
What is your skill level as far as wrenching on a scale of 0-10? these are not tough tasks but can be disaterous if done wrong. The injectors need to be removed ( along with the fuel rail) to refurbish, technically they cannot be rebuillt but can be refurbished. I sent mine to a reputable refurbisher. WHile they are out it is a good time to renew all the rubber.

rough and slow
As an engineer (admittadly retired) my recommendation is to do one thing at a time. That way you will know what went wrong when you fix it. If you shotgun everything at once, you may fix the problem and still be none the wiser irt your problem. My secondary recommendation is to start with the cheapest stuff first. That would probably be the vacuum line fix.
