DIY MANAULS 1987 560sl HELP!

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good DIY guide for 1987 560sl?

I can not find any userfriendly DIY manuals on a 1987 560sl! I have been searching and everything I find/buy has been so far a waste of money! I bought a Mitchells off Ebay and its useless, I subscribe to AllData and I find some good info but no good pictures just black and white copies that are out of focus. I am trying to trouble shoot my a/c which works when you ground out the system. So I am looking at electrical components, switches relays etc. I searched on AllDAta for my A/c system relay switches and control module and came up empty.

I am looking specifically for the location and what the a/c control module and a/c control module relay switch look like. Color or even clear pics as to what they look like would help.

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

You might want to get the Mercedes 107 CD, but the pictures are not a lot different from Alldata.

The CD does have the location of the AC Compressor Control Relay N6. It is behind the glove box. The outside flap vacuum element is to its left, and it looks like there is a large black cable casing to its right. There appear to be two ice-cube relays together, and the one on the right is the compressor relay. The one on the left is for the aux fan. You should be able to verify the relay from the wire colors on your diagram.

But remember, don't condemn the control unit until you test the inputs!

Thanks for the info MBUSA does not have the manuals available for the 107..i called them yesterday. I did order one off of Ebay hopefully its not a bootleg and works when i get it.
