This idea is maybe not what your looking for, but to save a few dollars, you might want to consider this idea. I purchased a new windblock for a newer style beetle over the internet. I believe the cost was just over $100, (I can't find the invoice) compared to $300- $400 for a benz windblock. I have a 380sl and the windblock ended up being just a little to wide, so I removed (cut to size) 2 metal rods that would have held it in place on a beetle and installed 2 small I-hooks in the rear jumpseat area. Used 2-6" bungie cords to hold it down and away I went. When it's installed, you can't even see the bungie cords, it looks almost factory. I just came back from a 5 hour trip with the top down and the screen worked great. The whole conversion took about 20 minutes to do and it saved me several hundred dollars. If I knew how to post pictures, I would.
FYI, this isn't a perfect fit, but it looks good and serves the purpose. When cutting the hold downs off, you have to leave some of the plastic housing to help hold it tight against the sides. Your car might to wider then mine and the windstop might fit between the sides with no cutting. Measure twice, cut once.Good luck
