M119 leak @ injectors (96 SL500)
I have a fuel leak in the vicinity of a fuel
injector. I believe there are a couple seals involved. Is it not too tricky to replace seals? Looks like fuel rail & wires come loose pretty easily...are there any secrets to doing this job? Cheers, Richard |

I haven't personally done this. According to Alldata, you remove the rail and injectors as a unit, then undo the "anti twist" clips to disconnect the injectors. Replace o-rings and re-assemble. It looks like you have to take care to maintain the angle of the wiring connector.
There are two o-rings per injector, one at the rail and one at the engine side. There is a note to oil them when installing.
