Last of the serie?

What would be your gestimate of the price of this rarity?. With only 3k miles from new and being the penultimate of production line. Cost per mile on depreciation could be horrendous!!

No more than a regular SL with 3000 miles. That it's the second-to-last RHD r107 doesn't increase its value to me at all. I'm sure the dealer who's selling it will tell you differently, but I have a hunch what his motivation is.

I'd say $25,000 USD is good for that car.

Looks nice in the euro version.

There's a 1500 mile 560SL on e-Bay, asking 46K.

eBay Motors: Mercedes-Benz : SL-Class (item 150310773365 end time Dec-09-08 08:49:51 PST)

I would think in somewhat normal times - not in the middle of an economic meltdown - that cars like this would bring 40K. Lots of 560's with mileage in the 20's have sold in the 35K range.

Uk

Well as it's a RHD it would sell well in the UK - any good low mileage (less than 40k miles) 107 would fetch well over 20k UK Pounds so I guess this "special" car would be on at over £40k even now - people are looking for altenative stuff to keep what money they have left in safely.

Looks a great motor

Pity it's not red though!

Cheers

jim
