Switching York to Rotary Compressor

Rather than re-invent the wheel thought I'd ask for those who's done this.
My Euro 280SL needs a new compressor. Rather than replace the York, thought I'd change it out to a rotory compressor. Any help on which brand will bolt up to the York flat bracket that's bolted to the passenger side of the motor? I'll probably need to change the drier and hoses too.

No rotary will bolt up to the bracket. There is a separate adapter which will allow you to install a rotary compressor. Check with your local A/C shop. I prefer the Sanden rotary but there are many rotaries out there which work just as well.

You will be surprised at the difference. Much less drag on the engine and quite a bit more cooling capacity.
