83 380SL vaccumm hoses?
Could some one that has a 380 sl look under the hood and tell me where and how the vac hoses connections at the fire wall by the drivers side go attached.
A solid Yellow and a solid Grey vac tubing are coming from the motor area and then it splits into 4 tubes Yellow, Red with grey stripe Red with green stripe Grey with white stripe. Also there are 2 one way valves the black side is the flow side. A couple of splitters are avilable as well to make the connections. Thanks.

Juan- Take a look at the 7-5-2008 5:30PM post by redsl. There are some diagrams posted there which should be helpful. Ned

Juan- Just looked at my '84. The two red w/gray tracer come together with a two-way rubber "splitter", and then into a one-way valve with the blue towards the firewall (line 1). The yellow goes into a 2-way rubber splitter, with one side of the splitter joining to a yellow w/black tracer which goes to a (I think) vacuum source on the back of the engine. The other side goes to a one-way valve (blue side towards the firewall) (line 2)which then connects to a 4-way splitter. One side of the 4-way is connected to a white (or clear, or gray) line (line 3) coming out from the firewall, a second is connected to the two red/gray splitter line (line 1 above), the third to the yellow 2-way splitter (line 2 above), and the fourth goes to the vacuum tank under the right side front fender. Does that make sense? Read it over a couple of times and it should. I hope. Ned

Thank you Ned, Tim send me some pics and with both your Info and help I was able to put it back together properly. Now I do not have vaccuum whistle coming from the climate control unit.
