engaging fuel pump

Hi All,

What's the easiest way to turn on the fuel pump (where to bridge and what) in a '83 380SL? I just want the fuel pump to run without the engine running.

pump

You should be able to provide power right at the pump. Just pull the protective cover off and bump it over with a spare battery. I don't think 12V direct will hurt...
.
Anyone concur?

Isn't there a directly jumperable (with banana connectors) location like in the W126-s?

Remove the fuel pump relay. Look at the relay, determine the holes in the socket for 30 and 87. Jumper those with a piece of #12 or #14 wire.
