p/n help please

I bought a pair of V8 valve covers p/n's 117 01 60 005 and 117 01 60 105, which are reputed to fit late model SLs.
Except, all references I can find show #117 01 00 830, and 117 01 00 930 as the applicable p/n's.
The 60 005 and 60 105 p/n's are nowhere to be found.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Did you try MB's Electronic Parts Catalog? Free (in the US) online service at

https://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/login.jsp

You will have to provide subscription info requested, i.e., Name, Address, and a CC# that won't be charged (ID purposes only) to get access to the EPCOnline.

Canadians can't get access to the EPC without paying.

I poked around in the EPC Part Number Search and couldn't find anything for the first two numbers, not even superceded even for the 3.5. The second two are good numbers for valve covers for virtually all M116 and M117 engines.

BTW, the correct format for part numbers is xxx xxx xx xx.
