Who has the rarest SL on this forum?

Who has the rarest SL on this forum and which one is it?

I noticed a new member with a 1956 SL300 this morning. I'm guessing that has to be close, if not the winner.

Seriously, I did see a picture go by up top of a red 1956 SL300, but I've already forgotten the screen name of the owner. I think those have to be very rare, judging from the prices I've heard discussed for them.

I'd agree that a '50s SL would be rare (and wonderful to own!). I'd also say my '83 SL AMG with a Getrag 5-speed is pretty dang rare for any SL, but it's not a factory production unit. Rare SL? Absolutely, but maybe it shouldn't qualify because MB had little to do with it rarity.

You're absolutely right. Where is the Mistress? I ought to get a good whipping for making a mistake like that!
